After defeating Rellana, Twin Moon Knight in Castle Ensis, you may be curious where to go next to progress the main story of the DLC. This guide has answers for you as it will explain where to go next so you can progress further inElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Elden Ring SotE: Where to go after completing Castle Ensis

Knowing where to go in the base game of Elden Ring was confusing, and Shadow of the Erdtree is no different. Once you succeed in the brutalboss fightagainst Rellana in Castle Ensis, your next objective is togo to the Scadu Altus region. From the Ensis Moongazing Grounds Site of Grace (in the same room you fought Rellana), go directly ahead through the open door. This will lead you to Scadu Altus.

Activate the Highroad Cross Site of Grace immediately upon entering Scadu Altus to give yourself a checkpoint for the region. To continue the main story of Shadow of the Erdtree, you need tohead to the north of Scadu Altus and reach Shadowkeep. The image below shows where the Shadowkeep legacy dungeon is located.

Where to go after beating Castle Esnis in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

Be prepared to fight a handful of enemies as youjourney to Shadowkeep. Also be prepared to encounter a Furnace Golem along the way, that loves to rain fireball rocks toward you. I would run past the Furnace Golem if I were you.

While Shadowkeep is the next main location after Castle Ensis, it may be smart to hold off and do side activities. I recommendexploring Scadu Altus as much as you can before attempting Shadowkeepto allow yourself to grow stronger, improve your stats, and optimize your build further. I also recommend searching for more Scadutree Fragments and Revered Ash to improve your chances of success against the challenges that lie ahead.

That’s all you need to know about where to go next after completing Castle Ensis. We have tons of guides to help you onyour journey through Shadow of the Erdtree, so verify you check them out.
