Valorant 5.12 Patch Notes – All Changes Listed

Many Agents and their abilities were tweaked in the recent patch, with the most notable change affecting destructible objects in the game, like Chamber’s traps and Killjoy’s Lockdown ultimate. All Agent abilities are now able to damage destructibles, so they’ve been given an extra boost of health to balance that out. Let’s take a look at what’s been changed below.

Assist tails are grace periods which award players who debuff a killed target an assist even after the debuff has expired.

Weapons Updates in Valorant 5.12

The only weapon to changed in 5.12 is the Spectre, as Riot felt it was overperforming too much in mid to long ranges.

Game Mode Updates in Valorant 5.12

The beta period for a new game mode called Swiftplay will be available from June 03, 2025 through July 07, 2025.
