While Child of Light has been announced to be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year, something else might have been shared in the process. Patrick Plourde shares on Twitter a photo ofChild of Lightrunning onNintendo Switchbut it’s what’s in the background that may have given away the sequel, Child of Light II.
Ubisoft Developer May Have Hinted Child of Light 2
Ubisoft Creative Director Patrick Plourde shared an image of Child of Light being played on the Nintendo Switch when they announced it was coming to the platform towards the end of this year. However, in top right hand corner of the photo you can see “of Light II” on a piece of paper. This leads us to believe that the sequel is being teased by Plourde.

Child of Light the side-scrolling RPGplatformerwas well received after it’s original release back in 2014. It follows the story of a young girl from 1895 Austria who awakens to find herself on the continent of Lemuria and must fight her way to return home.
Child of Light will be coming to Nintendo Switch on October 11th and is currently available to play on PS4, Xbox One, PC and PS Vita.
