The Grim Tangle is one nasty cave in act 1 ofPath of Exile 2, with tons of hostile creatures such as the undead, but an explosive environment to boot. It’s very early in the story, so it’s less of a threat than many of the later levels, but there’s still one big baddy that needs to be taken care of.
We’re, of course, talking about The Rotten Druid, the boss of the Grim Tangle, the first real threat you will face in your adventures. He not only spews deadly attacks at you, but can trap you in some nasty situations.

The arena is arguably the deadliest part of the fight because the explosive mushrooms scattered around can absolutely devastate your health pool if you’re in the middle of a handful of them. Because of this, you’ll need to avoid the middle entirely, not only the mushrooms but the puddle of acid that will drain your health in a matter of seconds.
The main strategy is movement. His projectiles don’t do a lot of damage but everything else hits like a truck. The Rock Slam is the easiest to avoid, but it’s projectile vomit can catch you off guard if you aren’t paying attention.
