If you have purchasedthe Season PassforStar Wars Outlaws, either on its own or with the Gold Edition or Ultimate Editions, then you’ll likely have noticed that, alongside the other content, it comes with an exclusive mission,“Jabba’s Gambit.“Normally, a Season Pass-exclusive mission might not be the most notable thing to highlight, except it’s also a quest that involvesND-5,easily the game’s best character, as Kay and him try to perform a task for Jabba in order to get rid of some debts that ND-5 has. You’ll unlock the questafter completing the main story quest on Tatooine, and while not the most complex quest, we still have a guide prepared for those who want a deeper look into it.
Review: Star Wars Outlaws
“Boring conversation anyway.”
Start off the quest by heading toJaunta’s HopeonToshana, where you’ll meet up with Jabba’s contact. It would appear that Jabba wants some sensitive blackmail information found on a datapad, so it’s time to meet up with ND-5 to see about it. A new location for you inThe Miragewill be marked on the map, so head there to look into things further.

After talking with ND-5, now you have to search for a datapad with the information on it, which thankfully isn’t that hard. Just head to the structure behind ND-5, and investigate theblaster marksnext to the door, which suggests that things went south. Then investigate asatchelfound on the left side of the building, just a couple of steps away, only to find no datapad within it.
Luckily, Kay’s little buddyNixcan get the scent of the datapad from the satchel, so all you have to do now isfollow themto your next location a short distance away. Unluckily, the Pykes also want to get a hold of the datapad, and so first, the Pykes will attackdue to ND-5 being a little trigger-happy. Even with ND-5 assisting you in battle, the lack of any cover means that you should have some Bacta-Vials ready as you pick off enemies.

After the skirmish, just follow Nix to the next location. There’s another shootout with the Pykes here, but luckily, ND-5 has you covered as Kay flanks them, so head around the side and pick off the ones that ND-5 hasn’t already finished.
After the battle, it’s revealed thatCrimson Dawnalso wants the datapad, and is currently dueling with the Pykes for it at another location, marked on the map.Head there, and wait for the two to wipe each other out as much as possible before getting use of some tall grass to hide it before you have just one or two enemies to pick off. Then all you have to do is just grab the datapad, out in the openon a table by the nearby building.

Now you just have to get the heck out ofTosharaand deliver the datapad to Jabba onTatooine. However, fast travel is disabled,so you have to use the Speeder to get back to the nearest landing zone. Luckily, it’s a straight shot toMiroganafrom the datapad’s location. Some Pyke goons will attempt to attack you along the way, but you can easily outrun them.
Unfortunately, it appears that theEmpirehas taken an interest in your abilities, and has intercepted Kayin Toshara’s orbit. At this point, you’re given a choice:“Gun it"or"Stand down.“While fighting the Empire seems like the right call at first, the better option is to actually choose to stand down, asCrimson Dawn and the Pyke Syndicatewill now enter the conflict as well. While gunning it hasmultiple TIE Fightersattacking you, standing down leads to this scenario where only one follows you, allowing you to make short work of them and head to Tatooine.

Before you dock, Kay suggestskeeping some of the schematicsfound with the datapad, as since no one in this crew is getting paid for it, they may as well keep it for themselves. And as such, the quest ends with you heading to Jabba’s Palace and choosing whether to give him the schematics, or keep them.Give Jabba the schematics, and you get…nothing. Really, nothing. No cosmetics, no charms, nothing.Choose to keep the schematics, though, and you can sell them later for a cool two thousand credits, with seemingly no consequences or a blow to any reputation you have with the Hutts.
