Sonos has slashed the price of its two portablesmart speakers- Sonos Roam and Sonos Move.
For a limited time, deal hunters will be able to pick up either of the two speakers with around 20 per cent off their typical price tags.
That means the Sonos Move is available for$320, reduced from $399, while the Sonos Roam is available for$144, reduced from $179.
The deals are currently available through via Sonos and Amazon, though it’s not yet clear how long the savings will last.
Sonos Roam
It pairs with your current Sonos setup or you can take it with you anywhere.
As we note in our fullMove and Roam comparison, the latter is much smaller and more portable than the Move, offering pretty much the same feature set, too. It also has a couple of extra capabilities, like the option to automatically switch between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
The Sonos Move, however, provides much better sound performance - that’s what you’re paying for here. If you need something that mostly lives at home but has the option to move around or even take on a trip, the Move is the pick.
Sonos Move
There are other great portable Bluetooth speakers out there - including Sonos' own Roam that is far smaller and better designed for constant portability - but there are none quite like the Sonos Move in terms of sound output and features, especially not for those already invested in the Sonos system.
If you’re looking for a great portable speaker, though, the Roam is ideal - and slightly better value, in our view.
Just note that thelatest colour options of the Roam- and the microphone-freeRoam SL- are not included in the sale, with only the standard models and colourways available.
