The news of Jonathan Majors’ departure from the MCU has been bittersweet for many. Although fans understand the reasoning behind it, with his trial not ending in his favor, they cannot help but feel bad about his firing. Kang the Conqueror is a beloved character from the comics, being iconic in many ways. However, there was something about the live-action version of him that simply did not feel the same to fans.
Audiences voicing their unhappiness with the main villain of the fifth phase and Majors’ run-in with the law happened around the same time, and Marvel decided to move in a different direction. After it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. would be coming back to the MCU, this time as Doctor Doom, all seemed to be forgotten about the Conqueror.
However, during a recent invasive interview, Majors revealed his thoughts on the matter, and he does not seem pleased in the slightest.
