Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta
During a special live stream, Capcom revealed thatMonster Hunter Wilds, the latest entry in its popular action-RPG saga, will launch on February 28 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
At this event, they revealed that the game will have an open beta on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC this month, although the dates will vary depending on whether you have a PlayStation Plus subscription or not.
When Can You Play The Open Beta?
Those who do not have a PS Plus subscription can access the beta from November 1 to November 4. This second phase will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with cross-platform multiplayer included.
This open beta of Monster Hunter Wilds will have three parts: character creation (which can be transferred to the final game if purchased), a story mission that will serve as a tutorial, leading players to huntChatacabra, and a free hunt mission forDoshaguma.
The usual arsenal ofWeaponsis expected, with some limitedarmorselections.

Monster Hunter Wildslaunches on August 09, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and will include Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe editions across all platforms.The Deluxe Edition features theMonster Hunter Wildsbase game and the Deluxe Pack, which includes a variety of cosmetic DLC, such as Hunter Layered Armor and sticker sets.
The Premium Deluxe Edition includes theMonster Hunter Wildsbase game, the Deluxe Pack, a Premium Bonus available upon launch, a Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 coming in Spring 2025, and Cosmetic DLC Pack 2 planned for Summer 2025.
Pre-orders of any edition will include the bonus “Guild Knight Set” Hunter Layered Armor and “Hope Charm” Talisman. Additionally, pre-orders made through the PlayStation Store will also include a Digital Mini Art Book.
Participants in the beta will receive several rewards: a pendant for Monster Hunter Wilds and a set of consumable items that includes the following: Mega Potion × 10, Ration × 5, Lifepowder × 5, Max Potion × 2, Herbal Medicine × 2, Nulberry × 2, and Armor Sphere × 5.
