Assassin’s Creed Shadows Update 1.0.4 Brings New Content and Fixes
Assassin’s Creed Shadows shares the official patch notes for Update 1.0.4, launching May 6 on PS5, Xbox, and PC.
The DLC pledges “a skull, a secret, and a painter with a mysterious past,” inviting players to embark on a new quest with Henry that begins with a whisper in the woods.

The expansion adds new narrative missions—playable without completing the main game, no less—anew painter character, new content, and new gameplay mechanics.
One of those mechanics includes a new trader who can customize your shield with collectible designs and a multitude of colors.

Free Update 1.3 Arrives Alongside the DLC
Launching alongsideKingdom Come: Deliverance II–Brushes with Death,Patch 1.3will add several new features for all players:
Two more DLCs are set to come out afterBrushes with Death;Legacy of the Forge, which is coming after summer, andMysteria Ecclesiae, which is coming late 2025. Both will include new content and quests to further Henry’s story.
