And with the lead casting done, fans are now looking forward to getting to know the rest of the characters and cast, who will join the two actors in the upcoming movie.

Daniel Craigrecently joined the discussions surrounding the supporting characters of the movie, as fans expect him to portray the DC villain Lex Luthor in themovie. However, the film’s director has debunked these rumors on Threads as he replied to a fan’s quarry.

Gunn took to Threads to answer a fan who asked if Craig would play Lex Luthor in the upcoming movie.“This is not true,”Gunn denied the claims of theGlass Onionstar joining the DCU. He did not name any other actors who could portray the DC villain in the future.

Some of the actors who are shortlisted for the part reportedly include Bill Skarsgard, Alexander Skarsgard, and Nicholas Hoult. Gunn has also said that auditions for the movie are almost done and narrowing down the potential actors, but they’re not done yet.

Hollywood actor Daniel Craig is popularly known for starring as 007 in theJames Bondfranchise. And he almost joined another popular franchise with the 2022 filmDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.Prior to John Krasinski joining the Doctor Strange sequel as Mr. Fantastic, Craig was scheduled to star as one of The Illuminati members, Balder the Brave.
