In the Vatican, there are a total of five artifacts hidden around the sacred grounds, each of which will take some solid snooping and exploring to discover.

Golden Xiphos
The easiest artifact to find is in a museum room near the Sistine Chapel area. On a wall of paintings, the one on the far right will beupside down. Approach it and interact with it to flip it the right way up, and it will slide to the side, revealing a hidden compartment with theGolden Xiphosinside of it.
Venus Figurine
The next artifact is found at thetop of the towerat the end of the A Nun in Trouble discovery mission (you must complete this mission before you can get the artifact). In theinterrogation roomat the top of the tower, there is a patch of wall that can be destroyed with a nearby pickaxe. Break it, and you’ll find theVenus Figurineat the end of the closed-off hallway.
Parade Helmet
Go to theTower of Nicholasand approach the entrance to the underground wine-based puzzle. Instead of going down the spiral staircase (past the room with the benches), headup the stairsand jump across the gaps to make your way upwards. At the top of the stairs, theParade Helmetwill be waiting for you to collect.
Drinking Horn
Past the storage rooms near the northern garden you discover in the Nun in Trouble mission, there is a safe with a four-letter combination. Go to the exit of the room and turn on the lamp, which reveals the blacklight-lit code to the safe:7171. Open the safe with the code to find theDrinking Horn.
Bronze Mirror
The final artifact will be found in thesewerbeneath the Tower of Nicholas. Instead of heading through the big metal gate, go across the bridge (next to the sleeping guard) andbreak down the wallwith a nearby sledgehammer. Head into the room behind it to find theBronze Mirrorat the end of the path.
