Since it’s part of the Guest Relations secret event, it can be a little tricky to complete, especially when you need to search for treasure that could be located anywhere in the entire zone. Unfortunately, players have reported running into issues that make this quest tough - if not impossible - to complete without using some workarounds that might seem a bit strange. At the very least, those workarounds can be somewhat time-consuming, since they involve switching shards and even defeating world bosses in Tanaris.
How To Complete The Tweasure Hunt Quest
Tweasure Hunt is part of a series of quests, so if you don’t see it right away, don’t worry. Instead, you’llstart with a quest called Lost and Busy, which you’ll pick up from Alyx in theTanaris anniversary event area. After that, you’ll do the quest Tat Big Meanie, and finally pick up Tweasure Hunt at the end. When you pick up Tweasure Hunt, you’ll have the Torch of Pyrreth in your Toy Box, which you need to use in order to find the required treasures.
You can check if you’ve already done this quest using “/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(84363))”.

At each of those locations, you need touse the Torch of Pyrreth to reveal the treasure, letting you interact with it. While that sounds simple enough, players have been running into issues that make completing this quest, and therefore the chain, rather difficult.

Issues You Might Encounter
The first problem is thatyou cannot be in a groupwhile doing this quest. You aren’t able to complete objectives in a group, which can be easy to miss if you do theChromie Codexbeforehand and speak with Chromie to leave, as she won’t remove you from the instance group when she teleports you out. Luckily, this issue has the easiest solution as far as potential problems you might encounter with Tweasure Hunt.
The other issue that’s been popping up with this quest is players having an error where their character repeatedly says they have no target when trying to use the torch. Unfortunately, theredoesn’t seem to be a clear causeor certain solution to solving this problem. Of course, you can try the classic solutions for random problems, which include:
However, another solution that’s a bit unusual when it comes to random problems seems to have potential in this situation, and that’s joining a group with players toget shifted to a different shard, then leaving the group to try the quest again. Then, you should be able to finish up this quest chain for the Guest Relations event, and continue working on more events to get rewards, such as theColdflame Tempest Mount.
