The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomcan last players a long time. Some of the coolest moments occur late in the game, and you’ll want to get to them eventually. Here is our guide explaining how to complete Left-Arm Depot inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom– how to complete Left-Arm Depot

Late in your adventure, you must track downMineru. This is part of the main quest, and it’s quite an involved process. If you need help, check out our guide telling youwhere the fifth sage is.

After finding Mineru and partially assembling a mechanical body, she asks you to find four more pieces from the nearby depots. Each location presents a puzzle of some sort.To complete Left-Arm Depot, you must guide the piece through an obstacle course to deliver it safely to the assembly point.

From the pedestal where you assemble Mineru, head to the south and passMuokuij Lightroot. Then veer directly southwest. Head between someEvermeantrees and ascend the hill, which looks a bit like a chute. Near the top of that climb, veer right. You’ll find a large platform and can enterLeft-Arm Depot. The above screenshot shows its precise location on the map.

As you enter Left-Arm Depot, activate the pedestal directly ahead of you.The entry gate closes behind you. Ahead of you, a case containing the arm piece descends to the platform.

Totk Left Arm Depot Wheels And Steering Stick Attached To Case

Lift the case with the Ultrahand ability and bring the case to the left, near the stone gate. The gate has aWheelpiece attached to a chain. Hit the Wheel with your melee weapon. It ascends, lifting the gate with it. Bring the case through the opening and lay it flat on its wide side, ahead of a bed of lava.

Now return to the gate.Use the Ultrahand ability to grab the Wheel pieces from the opposite side of the gate. Then grab the ones on the side you occupy. You need at least two Wheel pieces. Attach one to the left side and one to the right side of the case. Also attach the nearbySteering Stickto its top.

Totk Left Arm Depot Case Vehicle Straddling Lava Beds

Drive your case-vehicle across the nearby lava bed.On the next wide platform, head to your right. You’ll find twin beds of lava with a gap between them. Remove theWheelpieces andSteering Stickfrom the case. Rotate the case sideways. Then attach oneWheelon the new left side and oneWheelon the new right side. Reattach theSteering Stickalso. There is an extraWheelpiece near the lava. Move it out of your way.

Use the Ultrahand ability to lift your case-vehicle.Position it so it sits astride the two lava beds, beneath the walls on either side. It is low-profile, and will just barely fit. Then hop to the vehicle and use theControloption to drive it across the lava.

On the far side of that lava, you encounter another stone gate. It has two weights attached to chains, one on either edge. There are multiple ways to pass through this gate. You can try attachingWheelpieces to the gate to raise it. I prefer a cheap alternative approach.

Remove the wheels from the ends of your case-vehicle.Reattach them to the narrow side. Place your vehicle against the stone gate. Then hit aWheelto start both wheels to spinning. The gate blocks the case-vehicle from advancing. Use theUltrahandability to raise the gate. The vehicle then rolls through just fine. Or you can let it position itself as a wedge beneath the gate, so you can easily pass through the opening as well. If you wind up stuck on the wrong side of the gate, use theRecallability to get through it.

Totk Left Arm Depot Riding Case Vehicle Along River

Once you pass through the gate, remove the spinning Wheels from the case.Look nearby. Two enormous fan blades spin on the wall, kept in motion byFanpieces. Pull the twoFanpieces away to stop the massive blades. Then attach thoseFanpieces to the left and right sides of your case-vehicle.

Set the case-vehicle with the attached Fans in the water.verify it still has a properly orientedSteering Stick. Jump aboard and pilot your modified case-vehicle along the river. It follows a course that leads to an end point near your destination. Use theUltrahandability to lift the case from the water. Carry it over to the pedestal, where the case falls apart. UseUltrahandagain to insert the arm piece into the pedestal so it snaps in place.

If you need help finding and placing the other pieces, you’re in luck. We have also written guides telling youhow to complete Right-Arm Depot, how to complete Left-Leg Depot, andhow to complete Right-Leg Depot. You must place all four pieces to reassemble Mineru.
