How many Acts inBaldur’s Gate 3?
Throughout the main story inBaldur’s Gate 3,there are three Acts. The Early Access version let you play up to Act One, but now with the full release, there is so much more gameplay available with the last two Acts.
The first Act focuses on thetielfings and the Druid Grove, thenfinding your way to Moonrise Towers. There are two ways of doing this. Either go up the Mountain Pass, or head through the Underdark. The game will give you a warning that you’re about to head on an adventure, and you should tie up any loose ends. This is when Act Two begins.
Act Two is a large chunk of the story on yourbrutal journey through the shadow-cursed lands. You’ll also come face-to-face with one of the many main villains. Act Three begins when you finally make your way past Moonrise Towers, and start yourfinal journey through the city towards Baldur’s Gate. Now that you know the answer to how many acts there are inBaldur’s Gate 3, you should understand how long of a game it’ll be.
How long is Baldur’s Gate 3?
According to the website ‘How Long to Beat‘,Baldur’s Gate 3is sitting at around40 hours for the main story, and around80 for main and side quests. If you’re a completionist, that can reach over 100 hours. Personally, I finished the first Act in around 20 hours. That could stretch much longer if you’re planning to finish every single quest and explore every area.
Act Two, although deemed the longest of the three by the developers, took me around 20-25 more hours to complete. Act Three in my opinion feels the longest, as you’ve finally made it to the grand city of Baldur’s Gate. There’s much to do, and I’m still finding new things to do after more than 20 hours of gameplay. Now that I’ve answered how many Acts there are inBaldur’s Gate 3,and how long it should take you to beat it, have fun on your journey through this Larian Studios game!
