Knight Skeleto Summon
By far the biggest thing you need to watch out for is Homo Pento’s Shockwave. If your party is at all weak to wind this fight will turn in the enemy’s favor in a single turn. With that said, the main objective right off the bat is taking down the Summon Knight Skeleto. This summon doesn’t do a lot of damage, although if you’re weak to slashing attacks, his Rising Slash can giving the Homo Pento an extra action, but otherwise, he’s more of an annoyance for raising the boss’ attack and defenses.
This is because the Homo Pento has the ability to do this on its own, meaning that he doesn’t have to use up one of his actions in the turn to buff himself. That’s on top of, if you bring a debuffer with Dekja, you’ll be able to remove the Homo Pento’s buffs each turn.
With that said, when it’s not buffed, aFakeris very useful in this fight due to the Homo Pento’s fire weakness.Crimson Flame, and evenInfernal Vortex, will make short work of the boss. The summon isn’t weak to the fire, but this will still whittle down its health pretty quickly.
Outside debuffing and using your fire skills, the summon itself is susceptible to blunt and holy damage, so you can utilizeHamaor even Pugilist type attacks to get it off the field as fast as possible. Just be cautious of its ice and lightning resistance, otherwise it might cause anxiety to build up.
