Hogwarts LegacyHerbology guide – Seeds, combat plants, and increasing pot sizes

You’ll attend Herbology classes inHogwarts Legacya couple of hours into the campaign. Once you’re done withSecrets of the Restricted Section, your next day as a student will require you to meet Professor Garlick in the Greenhouses. There, you’ll pull out aMandrakevia a quick-time event (QTE), though this is mostly for fluff and immersion. The actual mechanic is more of buying and passively waiting. That’s because any seedling you have can be placed inside pots. You’ll then need to wait from 10 to 15 minutes depending on the item that will be acquired.

Herbology plants and seeds can be purchased from two shops in Hogsmeade: The Magic Neep in the northwestern portion of the town, and Dogweed and Deathcap in the northeastern outskirts. Here’s the gist:

Hogwarts LegacyHerbology also requires you to increase pot sizes for some materials. By default, the Herbology Classroom only has one small pot, which won’t allow you to make various ingredients. However, you can also purchase a few blueprints from the Tomes and Spells shop in the southern portion of Hogsmeade (some examples are enumerated below). These devices can then be placed in yourRoom of Requirement. Here are some examples:
