In trueDisney+form, many of the series slated for the streaming service next month are all family-friendly selections, with half of them made specifically for children. That being said, there are a couple of offeringsadults would enjoyas well. While there won’t be the same kind of action-packed Marvel addition as there was in January, thanks toEcho, there will still be interesting content worthy of audience viewership.

Lastly, fans of real-life epic adventures will need to set a reminder forArctic Ascent with Alex Honnold, a show that takes its audience to one of the most dangerous places on the planet.

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, a seriesperfect for fans of theSpider-Versefranchise, is an animated children’s show about Lunella Lafayette/Moon Girl (Diamond White), a 13-year-old genius living with her family on the Lower East Side of New York City. After accidentally bringing her Tyrannosaurus rex companion, known as Devil Dinosaur (Fred Tatasciore), to the present day via a time vortex, Lunella and her pal work together to protect their neighborhood from danger. In her element as a superhero, the upcoming second season will see Moon Girl struggle with her identity. As her heroic life becomes more intertwined with her personal one, she must decide if the cost of her secret life is worth the toll it takes on her family.
Based on Marvel characters of the same name, the series also stars Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster/The Beyonder and Sasheer Zamata as Lunella’s mother, Adria Lafayette. He garnered worldwide attention in June 2017 when he became the first person to free solo a route on El Capitan in Yosemite National Park.
The upcoming limited series travels with Honnold as he embarks on a lifelong dream of exploration and climate research. Having set his sights on Ingmikortilaq, a rock wall in one of the most dangerous environments on the planet, Honnold and a crew of two other climbers, as well as a research team, will set out to do something no one before them has ever done. The show’s first episode will premiere on National Geographic on Feb. 4 and be available to stream on Disney+ the following day.

Its main characters, Kai Brightstar (Jamaal Avery Jr.), Lys Solay (Juliet Donenfeld), and Nubs (Dee Bradley Baker), train with one another under the direction of Master Yoda on planet Tenoo. They also manage to explore the galaxy in the Crimson Firehawk with their pilot, Nash Durango (Emma Berman). Although still in its first season, the series has been on a brief hiatus over the past couple of months and will return with its final six episodes of the season in the middle of February.
Given its place within the Star Wars universe, the series is popular with young viewers as it’s clearly made specifically for them. Although the series is regarded as a widerStar Warscanon because of its placement within The High Republic era, it’s not a show adults would most likely enjoy. Nonetheless, when its final episodes return next month, parents will no doubt be streaming it immediately for their young Jedi lovers.The first episodes of Season 1 ofStar Wars: Young Jedi Adventuresis currently streaming on Disney+.
