Cult of the Lambwill receive a free update on April 24th, dubbed as the ‘Relics of the Old Faith’. The major update will introduce a new post-campaign storyline and add a wide variety of new features such as relics and heavy attacks to deliver a refreshing experience.
As the name of the update implies, the biggest change in gameplay is about relics, “usable items that bestow unique effects upon the Lamb.” As you make progress in the game and follow the mysteries of your relic book, you will unlock new relics with special abilities, allowing you to have multiple ways for approaching now-revamped bosses and enemies.

The new update will also bring significant improvements to the cult management options, including a kitchen to feed up to 30 followers, shared shelters that can house up to three allies, a new crypt to “store mounting corpses,” and farm plot signs. The developers have also added some new accessibility options, but the details of which are yet to be revealed.
Players can also expect the addition of a new photo mode as well, which will allow you to capture your special moments with your followers in a classy way. Other than the aforementioned features, the new patch will bring challenge runs, boss rush, permadeath, new quests, new progression systems, and new secrets to discover. The new update will be available across all supported platforms.
Along with introducing the new update, Cult of the Lamb’s developer also revealed the game’s physical release in retail stores.
