It was only last week that we got a reveal forBorderlands 3 at PAX East 2019, but now a launch date has been released and it will be an exclusive to Epic Games Store title on PC.
Borderlands 3 Release Date September 13th Launching Exclusively on the Epic Games Store
It looks like theEpic Games Storehas snapped up another exclusive on PC and this time it’s the newly announced action shooterBorderlands 3. Upon launch the title will be exclusive to the Epic Game Store for six months according to an article byKotaku, meaning if you want to choose another platform, you will need to wait until April 2020. The game will be coming out on September 13th and has been marked on the Microsoft website as being crossplay, while this mostly likely means crossplay between Xbox One and PC which is a feature for Microsoft, 2K Games have commented in the past about being open to cross platform play in an article byIGN:
Cross play is something we’re looking at closely, but don’t have anything to confirm or announce at this time.
While April fools brought lots of mischief, Borderlands 3 release date was actually announced on that day, but because it was the one day where everyone questioned the validity of Twitter posts, it later got deleted. Guess the joke was on us because September 13th is a very real launch date.
