Blasphemous Presents Its Board Game
It’s not uncommon for popular video games to be adapted into movies, TV shows, or even officially licensed board games. We’ve seen this trend with titles likeThe Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim, Fallout, Diablo, DOOM, and many others.
Now, it’s Blasphemous’ turn—the celebrated 2D action game by The Game Kitchen, which has already become a modern classic in the gaming world. The game even boasts a sequel with its own DLC.

While The Game Kitchen is working on various projects (including Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound), they’ve partnered with publisher Ludus Magnus Studio to expand the Blasphemous universe into tabletop role-playing.
Blasphemous: The Board Gameis a dream come true for fans of The Penitent One. Set in the Kingdom of Cvstodia, the board game supports up to four players.

Although it doesn’t yet have a release date, the first details, images, and the start date of the crowdfunding campaign have already been revealed.
The Blasphemous board game crowdfunding campaign begins on June 23, 2025, via Gamefound, and the project already has over 20,800 followers eager to see how it evolves.

What You Need to Know About Blasphemous: The Board Game
Blasphemous: The Board Game is designed for 1 to 4 players, making it enjoyable both solo and with friends. Each player assumes the role of a Penitent (just like in the video game), journeying through different regions of Cvstodia to atone for their sins.
The board is divided into three regions: The Wastelands, the City of Churches, and the Subsoil. Players will face numerous dangers represented by enemies, traps, and other obstacles.

Each Penitent can be upgraded with prayers and rosaries, and players can also tweak attack and defense parameters using custom dice faces, ensuring that every game offers a unique experience.
Boss battles have also been confirmed, with each boss having its own weaknesses. Sometimes, defeating them requires more than just combat, encouraging players to devise different strategies.
“The dark and captivating world of Blasphemous takes on a new form. After captivating millions of players with its gothic style and profound narrative, Blasphemous transforms into a board game experience that promises to immerse fans in the heart of Cvstodia.”

The crowdfunding campaign kicks off in late February 2025, with promises of exclusive benefits and perks for backers.
