In a social media post, Bethesda confirmed thatStarfieldwill receive significant updates this year, though they are not ready to share details yet. The studio thanked fans for their patience and emphasized that they have been working hard on future updates, without revealing any specifics for now.

Big Plans for the Future
Initially, Bethesda promised a major yearly expansion for Starfield. However, nearly six months have passed since Shattered Space, and there is still no news about the next one. At this point, it’s unclear whether a major DLC will be released this year.
Last summer, a leak suggested that the next expansion could be called Starborn, focusing on a key faction in the game’s narrative. Additionally, recent rumors suggest that Starfield might be coming toPS5, following the trend of other Xbox and Bethesda titles.
