When building your team in Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess, the units you choose and where you place them are the difference between winning and losing. Knowing which to upgrade and their prime locations will help you get ahead.

The best units in Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess

Choosing the best units to upgrade and deploy inKunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddessis the difference between being overwhelmed and being in control. Of course, with every stage, there will be a limit to what you may and can’t use. However, this ismy tier list of units.

Unit tier list

These are my personal preference with a brief breakdown of why.

When it comes to upgrading your units, I suggest working your way through the list in this order. Of course, it is essential to upgrade the first set of blocks of each unit early on for health and attack. However, when it comes to pushing units to the top of the upgrade tree, choose the cheap ones first.

Kunitsu Gami Path Of The Goddess Woodcutter Unit

I found that havingfully upgraded woodcutters and Archersin Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess slashed through hordes of enemies quickly. Their upgraded attacks make their cheap initial cost well worth it. I suggest focusing on these ones initially and then choosing a more expensive unit to work with.

How to place units in Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess

Unit placement is everythingin Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess if you want to complete the levels. Thankfully, it is possible to move them on the fly, but there are a few methods that will work as a basis for starting out.

The ideal setup will allow you to not worry too much about Yoshiro’s defense. This will leave you free to use Soh to focus on the heavier units and provide support where needed. If one of the lines fails, you will have to pull units back or repurpose some of the already designated ones. Make sure youhave at least one unit in each of the following sections.

Kunitsu Gami Path Of The Goddess Unit Setup

For your ranged units, I suggest always building and usingarcher towers. They will greatly increase the range and will also keep your units out of trouble for the most part. It is best to use towers behind the initial line of defense, though; otherwise, your archers will be targeted early on.

Pay attention to where the attack is coming from and try toplace archers slightly further back. Make sure their range extends beyond your initial line of defense and covers Yoshiro completely. They can work as a first strike and a fallback in this case.

Units In Kunitsu Gami Path Of The Goddess

I suggest archers as your main ranged attack unit in Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess. However, one or two marksmenare always great when heavy enemies arrive. Don’t spend your whole budget on them, though. As mentioned, it is worth upgrading your cheap units first.

Mid-range units

These units, such asthe Woodcutter, Ascetic, and Shaman, are key to your whole set-up. The Woodcutter and Shaman units should be moved around the field at will. With the Woodcutter, don’t be afraid to push them from one side to another. They are fast units and have a wide attack range.

Shamansneed to be where the action is, but not too close. I place mine behind the front line and beside woodcutters.Woodcutterswill dash in and out, but if there is a Shaman in range, they can take a few hits without worrying too much.

Using both of these units as mobile will provide quick healing and support where it is needed most. Unlike ranged and forward units, these ones should beconstantly shifted.

As a more tactical unit, I like to use the Acsetic to mix things up. Where the Sumo will attract enemies, the Ascetic will stop them in their tracks. These are a great way to trap enemies in the place between mid and front-line attackers. If an enemy is slowed at this point, they won’t survive long. One Ascetic is always enough.

Front line units

I placed mySpearmen and Sumos on the front line. The Sumo is great for drawing in the enemies. If you use them correctly, they will pull enemies away from Yoshiro and into areas where there is a lot of ranged attack. Sumos are going to take a beating, so ensure they have a backup from Shamans and Woodcutters.

Sumos get an upgrade on their fourth stage whichcreates an AOE attack. This both staggers and damages enemies. I recommend it due to its heavy defense properties. Staggered enemies are a perfect target for the high damage, slow-speed spearmen who can often miss the faster-moving targets.

With front-line units, it is essential tokeep an eye on their health. Often, one heavy enemy can wipe them out completely, leaving your mid-level units to hold ground. This will limit how much you may move Soh around the field, meaning you need to take their place.

If you need a little training without the beautiful illustrations of Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddes, there are plenty ofRoblox tower defense games to enjoy.
